Star Trek - No Spoilers

Just got back from ST. At the IMAX. Second row. Second row because Susan wanted somewhere in the middle, and that was all that was available. I love her, so I was willing to sit in the place that I hate most in a theater. My neck is still sore. But anyway.
Quick review:

Chris Pin as Kirk: I believed it. Very brash. We get to see how the Kobiashi Maru is beaten. And who wrote the code. Awesome.
Zachary Quinto as Spock: Amazing. A touch different, more of a look into the character that hasn't been possible due to trends in acting, but amazing. Very cool
Ohura: Gorgeous gal. Absolutely in the veign of Nichelle Nichols portrayl. Shocking romance between her and someone.
Simon Pegg as Scottie: fantastic! He really should've gotten more dialog. Damn shame he wasn't used more, as he was magnificient every time he was on the screen.
Chekov was funny. A few jabs made at his accent, but very good.
John Cho as Sulu: also funny. and badass.
and finally Karl Urban as McCoy: Best performance. Absolutely true to the Deforest Kelley. So much so that he faded away into the role, and I just saw Bones.
The story was good, explains the reboot and changes. The action is astounding. Effects amazing.

I will say, as of this writing, opening day buzz still pulsing through my veins, this is my favorite Trek. Followed by Wrath of Kahn and First Contact. Great movie, you all must see it.
