A friend recently said she had a hard time
imagining a Battle Giraffe.
Battle Giraffes are easy to imagine. Take a regular Giraffe. Now picture him having trained his entire life, eating gruel and constantly hitched to a large wheel that powers his master's palace's AC while the surrounding desert's sun beats down upon his brow, circa 600 BC. Now picture his hopes and dreams of being a free range Giraffe squished by the whip his trainer has worn thin on his, his brothers, and his father's back. Envision the blacksmiths hammer pounding out the tin and gold and copper that will be used to fashion armor on the giraffe to protect his master's investment. Having trained a Giraffe to battle-ready isn't easy or cheap. They have to endure many years of training, surviving in the Giraff-eator dome, and being able to accurately perform the Kata, showcasing the long studied Giraffe Martial Arts originally created by the monks that live atop Mount Hood in Oregon.
I don't see why it's so hard to picture. geez.
